As we know Bogota is a huge city and like big cities around the world, it has many problems among which we can find: mobility, insecurity, environmental pollution and to me the most important and worrying: intolerance. I was born in Bogota (a lot of years ago) and I love this city, but is very sad realize the changes the city have had since couple of years ago. Although local government have tried to improve the way in which people move through implementation of ways of transportation like: Transmilenio, SITP and cycle routes, those have not been enough to improve people mobility, because most people here has his/her own vehicle and when they move in these, there are lots of jams by the whole city. I think the best way to move in cities like this is bycicle, although when you are cycling are taking two more risks: that your bycicle would be stolen and you breathe dirty air. Something that people could do about it is to use less their cars and moving by bycicle more often, even this practice is very healthy. Talking about problems like: intolerance and insecurity, I personally believe that those could be solved with good education, in a city like this, any person can find an honest job, so I believe that thieves are lazy people who do not wants to works honestly. Personally I believe that the more worrying problem that Bogota has, is the intolerance, I think it is because people did not have received education about values and principles, so they do not understand that they must respect another people, no matter what problems arising day by day, one thing to do about it is improving education and emphasizing in respect for others. Finally talking about environmental pollution here, we must back about the amount of vehicles this city has, and the lack of conscientious of the owners in order to have these mechanically in the best way possible and use as little as possible.
